Quiet Time
Things are calming down after a successful Precious Time Photography promotion at the Bellevue Square Pottery Barn Kids in May. I have had a few weeks off but am looking forward to a promotion with Janie and Jack in Henderson, NV. in two weeks.

First Thursday Art Walk

This Thursday marked the 3rd opening of Lost & Found Photography for the Pioneer Square Art Walk. The studio is tucked in at the end of the hall and while it was raining and cold there were still quite a few visitors.
The photo studio upstairs was hosting a fund raiser which was attended by local photo celeb Dean Zulich. I feared that we might not get much of a turn out because of that but with the help of the manager's daughter Rosie we were able to get our biggest turn out yet!
Feedback was positive on my new work from Kendra's book "Stomping Ground" and as always David received positive reviews of his milsim photography.
Plans are in the work to have live soundscaping at an upcoming event by Lost Pet or Mantooth Sound System. Thanks to all those who made it down to the show!

Skin Deep Dance

Yesterday was another wonderful session at Lost and Found. The ladies of Skin Deep came down for some urban berber style photography as well as some fun studio shots. Here is a sample from the session. It features troupe leader and ATS instructor Katrina.

Lighting Lighting Lighting
I had the chance today to show if the studio to my dear friend and fellow photographer, Taylor Sporleder of Nikolaus Photography . I love playing with studio lighting. I am pondering teaching a basic lighting seminar. Tomorrow I plan to meet with Lisi Wolf and Lisa Loop. I think it is important to have a strong photo community.

First Session at Lost and Found/First Blog Post
Today was my first portrait session at Lost and Found. I photographed the lovely Kendra of Hands of Kali for her up and coming book "Stomping Ground." It was a wonderful, fun session and here is what she had to say on her blog. "Man, I love working with Sarah. As a photographer, she really has a feel for how to capture what I'm after..." The studio is working out wonderfully and I can't wait for the next session.
